Friends of the Lakeland Regional Medical Center Foundation play a vitally important role in shaping LRMC’s and LRCC's future. While some donors choose to make a major gift to fund a specific need, other donors choose to make their gifts annually. Participation in the Foundation’s giving clubs (particularly 1914 & Morrell Societies) allows donors unique opportunities for recognition, dialogue with hospital staff and interaction with other donors.
Sentry Club (gifts of $100 - $999 each year)
Sentry Club members, as guardians of healthcare, annually fund current and ongoing needs.
1914 Society (gifts of $1,000-$9,999 level each year)
These sustaining gifts help make possible the Foundation’s grants to LRMC and LRCC for equipment, construction and renovation, patient, community and staff education, and the establishment of new programs.
Morrell Society (gifts of $10,000 or more a year or over a lifetime)
Morrell Society gifts truly advance medical services in the community. The Foundation permanently recognizes donors of $10,000 or more by placing a plaque on our donor walls. The gift of $10,000 or more may be made at one time or cumulatively over the years.
Women In Philanthropy (gifts of $100 or more each year to women’s services)
Donors to the Women In Philanthropy society play a unique role in shaping healthcare for women in our community while learning and building awareness of women’s services. Giving at the leadership level ($500+/year) allows members to help direct funding to equipment needs, educational programs and other projects related to LRMC & LRCC.
Bridge Builders Society
This society recognizes individuals who have made an estate gift to the Foundation.
